What blind means
A blind player has not looked at the cards. The decision is based on the table, opponents and personal limits rather than known hand strength.
What seen means
A seen player has checked the cards and can compare the hand with the ranking chart. Many tables require a different amount from seen players.
Changing from blind to seen
A player may look at the cards before acting when the table allows it. Once seen, the player normally remains seen for the rest of that round.
Beginner approach
Learning the hand order is more useful than trying to copy dramatic bluffs. Keep early decisions simple and do not let blind play become a reason to exceed a limit.

Blind play is not automatically brave, skilled or profitable. It simply means acting with less information. Beginners should focus on understanding amounts and limits before experimenting with longer blind play.
A practical decision checklist
Before continuing blind, read the required amount and decide whether it still fits the limit set before the session. Before continuing seen, identify the actual hand category rather than reacting only to one high card.
In both states, count the remaining players and check whether a show or sideshow is available. Blind and seen describe information status; neither creates a guaranteed advantage and neither changes the cards already dealt.
